We kept the good stuff from the previous version of the coParenter app, improving upon what worked best, and streamlined the user experience so you can focus on what’s most important, your family and your kids.
Being frustrated with your coParent is normal.
And feeling this way is okay. What might be not okay is behaving on this feeling. You can really hurt your relationships with your coParent and, more important, your kids because of the way you talk to your coParent.
Thankfully, the coParenter team has deployed useful artificial intelligence in the coParenter app to help you stay civil. Smart language filters in the app catch inappropriate language and make you take that extra second to think about the consequences of your word selection.
Get in synch, and stay on the same page
One of the biggest challenges coParents face is getting on the same page. We’ve added a couple of features to make it so much easier to communicate: Calendar Sync and Tracking Expenses.
With calendar sync, you won’t need to keep switching between your kids’ schedules, work schedule, and your personal schedule. Never miss a recital, a soccer game, or school project again.
And if something comes up that requires money, you can use the Track Expense feature to record what you bought the kids and request your coParent to pitch in, straight from the app!
Be prepared in court
One of the things a judge might consider is whether coParents have acted for the benefit of the kids. How does a judge decide? With proof, of course!
That’s why it’s important to not lose the documentation between you and your coParent. With the new update, you’ll be able to keep your messaging history within the app and print it out for yourself.
You’re never alone in SoloMode (coming soon)
Maybe your ex is not into the coParenting thing or something is preventing them from getting on board. SoloMode allows you to send/receive time and date-stamped messages through the app to your ex, get coaching with a coParenting professional, use the Check-In feature to document your pick-ups and drop-offs, and add members of your own team (a lawyer, family, or babysitter) to keep communications in one place.
